John is a Clinical Psychologist in private practice. Kay is retired after working 34 years for the State of Georgia. We both love to travel and have a long list of places we want to see. We have 3 wonderful children (a daughter, son-in-law, and son) and 1 precious grandchild. Our family is going to be growing soon. Our son is getting married in May to a sweet young lady that has a 2 year old daughter. So we will have 4 wonderful children and 2 precious grandchildren!

Looking forward to a New Year

Well, Christmas 2008 has now come and gone. Our families had a wonderful time celebrating the season. We started celebrating with our traditional get together with the families of our best friends. We have been celebrating Christmas with them for the past 26 years. Emily, Rita, and I have our picture made together each year and are now including our girls (sorry guys - you got left out again!) and grandkids in the pictures. We always have fun at this annual event. It's fun to watch how we change and our families grow!

Next, we celebrated with the Petzelt family. We all enjoyed having lunch together at our house then watching all the kids open their gifts.

Christmas night was fun with 2 little ones, 6 adults, and 2 dogs in the house. It was hectic but I did manage to get a few posed pictures. Michael arrived dressed like a snowman Christmas evening!
